Rodeo remains a mainstay at Real. Texas. Festival.

The Real. Texas. Festival. celebrates all things Texan all of the time.

With that being the case, the Real. Texas. Festival. wouldn’t be what it is without the Mesquite Pro Rodeo Series.

The rodeo enters its 56th season this summer and the festival ticket includes admission into the rodeo for Friday or Saturday.

Camelot Sports and Entertainment continues to brand Mesquite Arena as an entertainment venue with Mesquite Pro Rodeo as perhaps the lead attraction. The arena is the host site for the annual Mesquite Independent School District Foundation Denim and Diamonds fund-raising gala.

The rodeo production has been amped up to include heavier music, pyrotechnics and the world-class stock of Smith Pro Rodeo.

To date, the Mesquite Pro Rodeo Series is the oldest continuously running sports franchise in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex – older than the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars.

The facility itself has undergone tremendous transformation as well – evolving from an outdoor dirt arena to the air-conditioned, indoor Mesquite Arena that it is today with the recent enhancements and additions from Camelot Sports and Entertainment.
